INFRASTRUCTURE
The new Centre has one auditorium with a capacity of 100 persons, two fully furnished conference halls, a video conference hall, a syndicate room, Computer Laboratory and a Library.
The Institute has a six-storey hostel building with a capacity of 60 beds, Auditorium and visitors’ lounge. Residential training and other in-campus trainings have been conducted simultaneously without issues.
Besides the infrastructures in the headquarters, SIRD&PR also have 8 subsidiary training centres in 7 districts of Mizoram. These training centres are as listed below:-
1. Extension Training Centre (ETC), Thingsulthliah, Aizawl District.
2. Extension Training Centre (ETC), Pukpui, Lunglei District.
3. Extension Training Centre (ETC), Kolasib, Kolasib District.
4. State Panchayat Resource Centre (SPRC), Aizawl, Aizawl District.
5. District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC), Mamit, Mamit District.
6. District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC), Serchhip, Serchhip District.
7. District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC), Siaha, Siaha District.
8. District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC), Champhai, Champhai District.
These subsidiary training centres are fully equipped training centres with facilities like conference halls, hostels, faculty & staff quarters etc.
